Mariatin (Prisia Nasution) is accepted to work as a housekeeper at the house of two sisters Sundari and Sulasmi. Mariatin and his daughter Asti live in the house. Sundari’s friendly attitude makes Mariatin and her child feel comfortable, even Asti could be very close to Sundari. However, Mariatin feels Asti is changing and being rude to her. Sundari always defends Asti because she is still a child. Sulasmi, Sundari’s sister, always seems cold and mysterious. This makes Mariatin afraid. Frequently Sulasmi being rude to Mariatin but Sundari always calm Mariatin. Sulassmi is accustomed to sing mocopat megatruh (Javanese song which literally means releasing life). Mariatin increasingly feels the oddities in the house: Sundari changes rough, Sulasmi increasingly makes Mariatin feel threatened, Asti is staying away, and the arrival of Broto who is always driven out by Sundari. Mariatin always hears the screams of a woman who seemed to be being tortured. Mariatin asks about the voice to Sundari, but she receives a threat. Mariatin tries to escape but got opposition from the sisters so there is a fight.
