It’s dusk in Roxy kampong area and Talib has to pee. So he just relieves himself under a sengon tree. Suddenly a sheet of white cloth touches his face. When he looks up, two spirits perched on the tree: a pocong and a white gowned kuntilanak. Talib is shocked. His scream echoes off around the kampong.
People come in throngs. The mute Talib is brought home by Jond, the security man, accompanied by Mastur, Bedul, Acong and Jupe. Mak Otak, Talib’s mother the otak-otakpeddler, can only resign herself to her son’s fate.
Talib’s story becomes an idea for Acong, Bedul and Jupe. It has been months since Acong’s father complaining of his empty cellphone shop. Acong then asks his two buddies to pose as pocong and kuntilanak. They have to perch on the sengon tree and Acong will take pictures of them.
The pictures of Roxy pocong and kuntilanak (pokun) spread everywhere. And only cellphones sold by Acong’s father can take pictures of the sengon tree inhabitants. The story then attracts a reporter of Tabloid Rahasia. Pina, the reporter, brings along his photographer, Bondy. Pina talks with resources while Bondy occupies himself by taking pictures of Talib’s sexy sister.
According to a shaman, Talib has disturbed the inhabitants of the tree. To heal him and expel both the pocong and kuntilanak, there has to be a sacrifice ceremony. As a matter of fact, there are other spirits too, haunting and frightening the kampong people.
